2,000 years ago, Jesus started a community. We strive to follow his example – to love community and to share with others the love that he has shown us.
Our hope is to learn as a group what it means to follow the new way of life that Jesus began. We marvel at the grace that God has shown us in meeting us in our darkness and transforming our lives into lives of hope. Our prayer is that every day we would trust God and seek His glory.
We love spending time together and we invite others to come be a part of us.
We meet as a group year round every Tuesday at 7pm at "Wayside" - 9801 Sudley Manor 9801 Sudley Manor Drive, Manassas, VA 20109. Meetings include prayer, teaching, discussion, and singing. These meetings are for any young adult who has graduated from high school.
The GPC Young Adults Small Groups exist to glorify God by providing an
opportunity for us to love one another and encourage one another in our
love for God in a smaller, more intimate setting. It's a place where a
small group of people meets regularly to share life's struggles, joys,
and questions. Though we uphold that God, and not community, must be at
the center of our lives, we emphasize commitment among small group
members in order to better foster that sense of community that so often
enables us to be real with one another.
Any young adult who has graduated from high school is welcome to become part of a small group. We hope you will consider it.
Please ask Joel Chenette, Nicole Derksen, Lauren Hyde, Patrick Kim, or Johnathan Rhoades if you would like to learn more about the small groups.
